Welcome to Fat Quarter Quilters Too! This site is the realization of a dream I have had for longer than I can remember. How I came to have my Gammill Statler is a story of how friendship, love of quilting and circumstances all came together in the right way.
I have been quilting for over ten years and in 2005, Deborah & I began FatQuarterQuilters.com. Every time we went to market, I was always drawn to the Gammill booth where I was constantly dreaming of being a longarm quilter. You know, life has a way of working out the way it should. Deborah moved to Atlanta to be closer to her daughter and suddenly, the longarm business seemed to be just perfect. The two of us could still share a business even though we were miles apart. She would handle the fabric end and I would handle the finished product! I mean, how great to work with quilters and their designs…it was just something I knew was ideal for me.
Now you can shop for fabulous fabric, plan and piece your quilt, and you can send your quilt to me to be finished beautifully for you. Know that your quilt will be handled with the greatest care and respect and I will treat it as my own. I am a quilter just like you, so I can appreciate the time, love and care that you have devoted to your “one-of-a-kind” quilt.
